Expected way to end the trilogy, same lesson carried out that is not surprising.
Not as intense as the other two films but still gets the point across with no sugar coating anything.

Totally liked it. :)
It's quite original that the beginning takes place on Jeju island in South-Korea. Afterwards, the japanese/korean thing adds an extra layer of complexity to some rivalries.
The rest is canonical yakuza movie by Kitano, in the vein of Outrage 1 and 2.
By the way, Matsushige Yutaka is quite cool in a detective role. 6 years ago
