This is a straight-up masterpiece. Darkly humorous, cynical, cautiously optimistic and with an utterly brilliant streak of poetry. I wish more people would recognize Solondz for the master of contemporary American cinema he is. 11 years ago -

I watched this a couple of days after Weiner Dog.
My fourth film by the writer director. Fifth will be Dark Horse.
I like the linearity 'with a casting twist" I guess is how I would explain this. Palindromes as a title (without knowing anything else, no trailer or premise). It clicked after a few minutes and is a very good film by the director. Dry, dark humour. Nice depth and escapsim 7/10 not in a rush to see it again though 3 years 1 month ago -
