   I was genuinely surprised. I honestly did not imagine the movie to suck at hurricane strength.
   The first movie was pretty bad but at least entertained somewhat, the sequel just fails in every aspect.
   
   Unremittingly predictable, incessantly moronic script, talentless and/or clueless actors, painfully terrible "fight scene" choreography, inane directing plus the biggest dropping of a ball of the movie year:

   the giant Cyclops! Completely wasted potential... tragic.

   
   
   The web comic CSSCHNEIDER linked was quite good, I wish the movie could have been too.
   
   Check out the crazy CGI which really suffers at times when it's supposed to shine

   like the water around the seahorse

   and other times pulls off a whopper.

   The director released a very interesting web comic about his experience making this film. It makes for an interesting read.

   The movie is bad, though I don't blame him. The comics take a tale of hard work and effort on his part. It's tough to make a film like this, but the script is the framework or skeleton of a film and the script was bad from the start. 10 years 5 months ago
