Amazing! Truly artistic with wonderful use of symbols. Great movie about an overlogical mind, seeking truth while excluding feeling and intuition. Again another interesting, psychological movie by Aronofsky. Now i consider Darren as one of my favorite directors!
Squeezes the line between pure rationale and insanity like an overripe lemon wedge: displays how a theory of everything that bridges math, stock, geometry, and Bible codes spirals the rational mind out into wild abandon and cumulative, exponential psychosis. Visually it's totally arresting and the low budget ethos totally adds to the whole atmosphere. Great music and acting as well, and a fantastic first feature for the director. Thumbs up!
This movie is truly one of my favorites; I love how Aronofsky made it black and white so we could focus on the movie and not what the colors of the characters are.
After watching The Wrestler and Fountain I lost hope in Aronofsky, but this is pure genious. Part Eraserhead, part Shinya Tsukamoto and part Jeunet/Caro trying to solve a mathematical puzzle with a jewish conspiracy. Incredible!
Was expecating quite a lot actually after seeing Requiem fro a dream, The Fountain and Black Sawn. But this wasn't for me... couldn't stay focussed on the story at all. I give it 6/10. Has a crazy good soundtrack though.

Aronofsky's explosive debut obviously influenced his later triumphs in films such as Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan. Quite good. 7/10The Wolfman Full Moon
