For a movie being about the porn industry, it really isn't that controversial at all, like, I don't know what I was supposed to get from this. A naive girl trying to make it big really quick usually ends being a bad idea, but that's nothing new.
And the whole foreigner thing was completely unimportant, Belle could have been any other girl from the US, so I don't know why they built her backstory around it.
All and all, if you missed this movie, you haven't really missed all that much in my opinion.
It holds back way too much to tell a message that is either interesting or thoughtful. 1 year 8 months ago -
Torgo
There's a section in the middle of the film which was the closest for me to fast-forwarding the stream or going outside of the room in a long time, and I've been through my share of horror and splatter. Oof.
So, trigger warning if you really put on this movie and expect to be spared from the dark side of the porn industry.
Overall, not bad, not great, due to some points brought up by LiterallyMe. 1 year 3 months ago
