The only unbelievable thing about this movie is Jimmy Stewart not jumping at the chance to marry Grace Kelly.

Watch the way Grace Kelly moves in every scene she inhabits. Flawless and effortless beauty with pure class projecting from every movement. Everything about her from the costumes she wears to the way her hair is styled begs you to adore her. Oh yeah... let's talk about the movie shall we? Rear Window is one of Hitchcock's many classics and the epitome of the movie genre of "suspense." Hitchcock weaves a wonderful web of suspicion, paranoia, and suspense into a package that we can't help but devour every frame. Jimmy Stewart is superb and I think I may have mentioned how good Grace Kelly is. 10/10 a cinematic masterpiece.

Somehow all hitchcock movies have this ambiance that make you feel so "at home" in the movie. I could move into this appartment any day and enjoy it.

This movie is awesome btw

A great, great film, much better and richer than I imagined. We're all familiar with the basic premise - man in wheelchair sees possible murder from his rear window - but there's so much more to it than that. Hitchcock has created an entire world in Jimmy Stewart's back yard, and though yes, the murder (or is it) drives the suspenseful plot, there are several other stories unfolding, and these are the ones the audience is likely to gravitate to on subsequent viewings. Well beyond the premise and the impressive technical achievement, there's some crisp witty dialog that brings in concerns such as sexual politics and some great black comedy. You truly feel like you're in the hands of a master

Very good thriller. Not quite on the same level as Vertigo but very close. James Stewart does a great job.
