   I actually liked this one, if only because they got rid of that ridiculous faux-documentary "found footage" camera work within the first 15 minutes. It quickly turns into a more classic, action-oriented zombie flick, which I think I'm okay with... I've been critical of the zombie-survival genre for years now, but I think my boredom with these movies has finally circled back into enjoying them again. Besides, how can you hate on a movie with a bride in a blood-splattered wedding dress killing rage-zombies with a chainsaw? 11 years 5 months ago

   Afonso da Costa

   It's a relatively weak film. It can be seen that there was an effort and a great investment in its production, but that is not what makes it a good film. It's full of clichés. I missed the immersive camera style that previous films accustomed us to. The story is not the best, and has little to do with the previous films. There is an excess of characters who, due to the short time they remain alive, seem disposable. The film is very well edited, has a good soundtrack and is well directed, but it was not at the level of the Rec and Rec 2.
