Surprisingly I did not really like this one.It is surprising, because I'm not the kind of person to avoid or dislike a movie because it's depressing or tough to watch. I've seen many such movies and some of them are among my favourites. I also enjoy lots of art films, smaller as well as bigger productions... no limits there.
On the plus side: Important topic of course, some great visual ideas and an absolutely stunning soundtrack. Incredible. The actors were amazing as well.
Still, something was missing for me. While I appreciated some of the movie's imagery and features, others were downright annoying. I also never really got the chance to actually connect with any of the characters, to feel for them or get involved. Again, I don't think it's the actors' fault.
So I get it, it's a big topic and there are some innovative ideas... but it was still not my kind of movie at all.

Meh, I was looking forward to watching it and it was a big disappointment. It wasn't "hard to watch" as many people say, but it just didn't get to me. I took a nap halfway through it and then finished watching it.
It's too straight forward. I didn't think about the movie after I watched it.
But then, maybe my expectations were a little too high.

I think this movie is way overrated. Pi & Black Swan are IMO Darren Aronofsky's best movies to this date.Showing items 76 – 83 of 83
