This is a Tsai Ming-Liang movie and it is intentionally unsubtitled-- which means even less dialogue than usual. Just so people know what they're getting into with this. There'll be no motorcycles or cathartic crying like in his earlier films. Just lonely days gone by and fleetingly profound human connection through meaningless sex. Plus cooking and shared noodles. Personally I love it. Maybe you won't.
