A pleasant surprise, Korean period dramas tend to be mediocre at best, but I'd say this got pretty close to Masquerade. A tad over-sentimental at times, but some delicious philosophical ponderings about power and family really pleased me. Kang-ho Song delivers as always and the guy playing his son who played a cock in Veteran was also tolerable this time around. 7 years 5 months ago
