Don't expect an action movie or a scifi movie, this is a movie about humanity with good performances all around.
I wasn't thinking much of Sofia Boutella as an actress but she was really good here. The kid acts way beyond her age and this was essential to keep the interest going past the second act.
Yes, there are some who will wish that we knew more about everything else, every other place than this little dusty corner of the universe where our protagonists live their little life but there is enough to keep you interested if you like character stories. 2 years 8 months ago
