Not a bad premise but all the noir elements feel cliche rather than organic, as if the film was a clumsy homage to noir rather than a genuine film of that era.
Many noirs were just B films of the time so in that aspect it succeeds as cheap escapism but with the right director this could have been a real gem. 10 years 2 months ago -
