Somewhat entertaining but a significant step down from the first. The heroes are still fun, the expanded lore is interesting, and the movie got a few laughs out of me. Villains have their moments, but Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren are mostly on autopilot. Worst offense is that a lot of the strong character work from the first has been replaced by mostly stock storytelling. I'm generally glad I saw it, but the film was a slight disappointment. 2 months 1 week ago -
