Sheng huo xiu, known as Life Show, is a good movie, but maybe not the best continental chinese you would seen.
It's about ''side of the modern Chinese woman'', where Shuang Wang lead a solitary life selling duck necks in her own restaurant at night, in the Jinqi street in Shangai, dealing with an unknown admirator and her family problems.
This movie owns some beautiful plans (Some of them made me tought a lot about Chungking Express), and Tao Hong do an amazing job in her role. It's not an amazing plot, it's much more of a everyday life scenario of the average social class chinese people, or may I say, chinese women.
Unfortunately, I think the soundtrack is horrible, but well... 9 years ago
