The strong performances help give the working class environments and characters power to facinate and draws us into the story of a flawed, but spirited real life woman called Karen Silkwood and her struggle against corporate power and interests. Interesting for most of its running time, but let down by its ending which is played out way too sentimentally with Streep's emotional version of Amazing Grace lingering over the much anticipated conclusion of this tragic story. 9 years 9 months ago -
