Der's more to Oireland dan dis. Voice acting so over done that its reminds me of Dick Van Dykes ridiculous cockney nonsense.
Unoriginal style. Looks like a bog standard childs book.
Boring and overrated. To be sure to be sure.

This movie looks like a gift card from Target, and feels like what every Miyazaki-worshipping, Tumblr-posting art school animation student imagines when thinking up their 'dream project'. Blandsville.

An absolute gem of a film. Flawless animation and different but refreshing style. Great story once it properly starts and the songs are both memorable and fun.

Stunning. The raw emotion is shown through beautifully crafted artwork, the mythology wrapped around the themes so perfectly, and the characters were well-rounded enough to be believable and endearing.

Gorgeous reflection of grief and closure. Needs wayyy more recognition!

By far the best looking animation I've ever seen. In fact, maybe one of the best looking movies I've ever seen. And the plot and voice work was fantastic too just to top it off. Looking forward to seeing future Cartoon Saloon films.

I liked it a lot. But I liked The Secret of Kells better. What I found a pity in this one is the recurrent graphic allusion/tribute to Miyazaki's work. A couple of things really seamed too much Japanese/Anime-inspired for my taste, whereas The Secret of Kells remains 100% Celtic.
More important that my own opinion, however: my daughter loved it!

One of the most gorgeous animations ever. I love, love, love this movie. Watched it multiple times in the last month, cannot get enough. The story is catching, imaginative, and touching. Just all round beautiful. Cannot recommend it enough.

Why isn't this in any genre lists yet? It's got enough votes and a high enough rating. Same goes for Wolf Children.

I loved it so much that I went to see it again when an opportunity arose; I don't think I have ever done that before. It was just as majestic the second time round. Perfection.

Wonderful. Its beauty, emotion and delight made me want to hug the screen throughout. My no.1 film of 2015.
