The best-animated film of the year, maybe even the best film of the whole year! With this movie, Sony brings big guns to the table and sets the bar so high with incredible style of animation, light and design. This is the best spiderman adaptation because it really feels like reading(watching) a comic book!

Story is great, character development is great, cast is superb! Go and see this movie in theaters because we have to show Sony that this is the kind of movies we want to see and not some generic 3d movies with dull characters and because it's just perfect for the big screen!

Whats nice is how the studio isnt giving us the same old Uncle Ben origin story again and again. That they are still able to do a fresh and fun Spiderman movie that doesnt pander to the audience and still acts as a great introduction to the character.

The Stan Lee cameo is very strong and make sure you stay for after the credits

Spider-Man - Into the Spider-Verse has a lot of guts. It doesn't care if its animation is non-traditional and multi-media, evoking the look of a comic book. It doesn't care if it makes use of different animation styles. It doesn't care if characters are killed, nor does it care if it has a silly talking animal as part of the action. It doesn't care if it lays the continuity references on its audience. And it doesn't care if it doesn't use the "best known version" of any given character. And in part because it is so bold, it all works. It's funny, exciting, touching, meaningful, beautiful, unusual, and a hell of a ride for comics fans and n00bs alike. It is, quite simply, the Lego Batman of 2018, and better than that for being more emotionally affecting. My only complaint is a technical one - perspective effects in the 2D presentation looking like we are just being shown the 3D version without glasses; some elements are distractingly blurry throughout, but I'm assured this is what Sony intended. Too bad, because otherwise this is a superhero masterpiece.

there were some moments where the visuals were a little much on my eyes, but since it was done so well, i never looked away. great animation, great storyline, all while not taking itself too seriously. spoiler

I absolutely loved it when I saw it in the theatre last year. But after watching it again a second time, I fell in love with it even more (and my nephew who almost never sits through a full movie loved it too!). Can’t wait to see more!

I haven't been this entertained by a marvel offering in some time. Going to the movies is fun again! I'm torn- I do wish an epilepsy warning was shown in the beginning or even mentioned in a press release so people like me could search for the information ourselves, but I can see why the effects were used, and I don't think the film would have been the same without them. That said, between Spider-man and the emoji film, Sony animation proves it has the chops to start making Disney sweat.

So much fun! Such an original art style! Loved it. Nice to see that Sony can deliver movies like this. Hope to see more of this, just not a whole movie universe with 14 movies each year. Keep it cool now, Sony.

Definitely the best animated film of the year, maybe the best Spider-man film? I would still say Homecoming is better, but this movie rivals Spiderman 2 in terms of pure emotion. I loved the father/son dynamic and Miles' relationship with his uncle and Peter Parker. Great movie.

Wow, blown away. Couldn't have have wished for a better animated version of (ultimate) Spider-Man. Loved every minute. Best movie of the year for me personally.

Excellent. It would be a masterpiece just for the animation, but the story, the depiction of the father-son relationship, and the twisted origin story was really good.

I came here after watching puss in boots 2, it sures takes a lot of inspiration from this style.

A must see 10/10.

Supremely entertaining. The style of the animation was a little off-putting at first if I'm honest but it didn't take too long to get used to. Lots of humor and touching moments. I especially liked the theme of becoming Spider-Man being a spoiler It's everything a Spider-fan could hope for.

-Still all looks like cgi crap
-feel the desperation of keeping the kids glued to the screen
-could have picked good music not only are the pop songs they use atrocious but the pedestrian symphonic score seems added to make everyone remember this is a real film, a real expensive film so don't forget how much of a quality experience you are having right now.
-yes it has a story but is it really a story
-try hard, do the right thing, stick with it
-just as one can become entranced by the flickering of sunlight through the trees this film continually moves but goes nowhere, means nothing.
-you want those kids immersed in this crap, they want to be immersed and that is about all there is to it because this is what the people pay for.
-Money is extracting by stopping millions of kids(or actually most people at this point) from moving or thinking for an hour and a half and they feel good about themselves for making that purchase
