Great pace, great cast, a great introduction to Star Trek for me.

It's the best thing Trek produced since Deep Space Nine closed shop, certaintly the best Trek film since First Contact. A riveting, streamlined, and enjoyable take that has plenty of nods to the series, amazing production values and effects, plus, *gasp* very solid acting.

Really enjoyed it. I'm impatient for the next one.

I never got into Star Trek because I knew it would eat up my time but I'm glad I decided to watch this movie.

Don't worry if all you know about Star Trek is the existence of Kirk, Spock, Scottie, or Sulu. You shouldn't have any trouble understanding it.

I don't know how I'm going to see this since I have never watched Star Trek or any of the Star Trek movies. But since it's in the Top 250, I guess I have to watch it.
