mook you're right with black comedy, the only scenes I found funny was when the Rasheid was in it, he was THE comedy relief
but overall it was a great movie. And that dog scene was just painful... ugh, great stuff, 3/5
You know, a lot of great period pieces present us with people who can't articulate why exactly they conform to an existence that clearly makes them unhappy. Naive viewers can watch them and think thank god things aren't like that anymore, thank god we have the tools to understand, thank god we're ready to look inside ourselves. But what about this film? What about the news? How many people out there are ready to do awful things and double down only to say "I don't know" when questioned about the extent of their inhumanity? When's the last time you've thought about why you did the worst thing you've ever done? This film is hilarious btw.

Hard to pin this down - a sort of black comedy/thriller/horror mix from the director of 'Re-Animator'. Quite enjoyable though.ucuruju
