Silicon Valley dick jerk algorithm applied to Nolan camera shutter time. Just watch the movie from the middle moment towards the extremities. It will make your enjoyment a TEN/EighT

«At the Gare du Nord they had a farewell talk on the platform. Einstein told de Broglie that all scientific theories, leaving aside their mathematical expressions, ought to lend themselves to so simple a description “that even a child could understand them.” And what could be less simple, Einstein continued, than the purely statistical interpretation of wave mechanics! “Carry on,” he told de Broglie as they parted at the station. “You are on the right track!”» —Einstein, His Life and Universe, by Walter Isaacson

Tenet is not only incomprehensible, Nolan is not even wrong. The special effects are nice though, except for spoiler

Time management by the Time Master Nolan. Did I just see this movie, or I haven't seen it yet?
At least I hear mystical sounds looping in my head...

Caught an advanced screening of this tonight. It is a film packed with ideas and feels condensed rather than bloated at 2.5 hours. An entertaining ride, but not nearly Nolan's best.

An ambitious thriller that is as complicated as some claimed Inception was trying to be. Once (if) you find your footing, there's a very fun thriller in here, with a unique premise. As far as blockbusters go, this one is solid and good for repeat viewings to really untangle everything at play.

Sadly this is Nolan's weakest film.

It feels lazily written and not polish.

Quite honestly I'm suprised this film was made.

There's just weren't the twists and turns that a good Nolan film has.

And what was with the soundtrack? Nolan films usually have great soundtracks, this was just shoddy.

4 stars out of 5

It excels at all three, but, ultimately, it’s a movie that will keep messing with my brain hours after it’s gone, and that’s an impressive feat. In a practical view, the logistics of the script supervision must have been insane. Dramatically, the action is wonderful fun, though narratively it doesn’t always make sense, but it moves at such a breakneck speed, it’s hard to care. Technically, Nolan proves he is still at the top of his game. Should I talk about it dramatically? Technically? Practically?

How can I describe Tenet?

So, apparently, there's this thing called "time".

Good Nolan movie. I think this movie comes as close to the difficult to wrap your head around quality as Primer as any other movie I've seen - though for very different reasons. It's a nice new take on time travel, and I'm definitely keen for a few rewatches.

It's a pity "pretensious" is not a palindrome. Would be a better name than Tenet.
