Total classic, it's probably so overlooked because it's a thoroughly nasty piece of work. Eastwood never played a more immoral character and not even the smallest of girls comes away ethically unscathed in this story. So much Southern Gothic atmosphere you can cut it with a knife and damn, Siegel knew exactly where to place his camera every single time. 7 years 5 months ago -
