Hola! Welcome to Mexico! Land of volcanos, sombreros, and gigantic scorpions! A pair of geologists find themselves battling prehistoric arachnids released by a volcano near a small Mexican town. Ray Harrehausen created the nifty stop-motion colossal creepy crawlers that got me to watch this movie again and again as a child. The oft repeated close-ups of the scorpion's gooey maws now make me a little queasy. 11 years 3 months ago
