   This is a very good haunted house movie with a very strong, powerful performance from George C. Scott in the main role. His calm, intellect and courage in the middle of all the spookery is what separtes this movie from most other takes on this sub-genre. Though it plays out more like a mystery movie than a straight out horror flick does not mean that there is not a good number of really scary moments here 10 years 8 months ago
