It's not bad, but the problem is that every single element of it reminds you of far superior movies. The world is a lesser imitation of The Road, the base is a lesser imitation of The Thing, the soundtrack is a lesser imitation of 28 Days Later, the enemies are lesser imitations of Dawn Of The Dead, the characters are lesser imitations of The Mist... the list just goes on. I definitely don't think there's anything too wrong with the movie, other than a complete lack of originality, but the finished product just leaves you with an overwhelming sense of 'meh'.
Was better than I expected from an independent sci-fi/action/thriller movie. Couldn't help but be reminded of "Event Horizon" every time Laurence Fishburne was on the screen... his characters in both movies are practically the same.
