Ironic that a film about growing younger made me feel myself slowly aging while watching it.

I guess I'm probably alone with this, but the movie did not exactly fascinate me. I loved Cate Blanchett and the actors are good in general, the story is of course interesting... but something was missing for me, I can't quite put my finger on it. I just could not connect to it enough to really like it.

So it's not a dislike, but neither a film that I really appreciate.

What an extraordinary, precious and moving story. Simply terrific!

Thought it wasn't that good. The story was kind of superficial and didn't offer any insight into Button's views on how life could be complicated etc when having this kind ailment. I do like Swinton, but after all I didn't feel as if this part was connected to the rest of the story (as many other parts) but that it just served to fill it up a bit. Of course I know it's based on Fitzgerald's story (which i havent read yet), but from what i know, his angle was much more ironic, which is something i am missing in this movie.

I thought it was painstakingly slow and superficial, there was some comedy, but that made it even more superficial.

I seriously do not understand what does Benjamin Button have to do with Forrest Gump... on any level. There are some very superficial similarities, that have nothing to do with neither the essence nor the plot of these movies.

I think that The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button deserves more recognition than this. It is beautiful in its slowness, even somewhat haunting.

It was sweet and great, but not my favourite Fincher movie. Cate Blanchett is so incredibly gorgeous, but that's nothing new.

Liked the movie, made me feel like I'm getting older. First thing i did when the movie was done was to put on dead flowers by townes van zandt.

And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave

My girlfriend and I couldn't stop laughing whenever old lady Cate Blanchett was speaking! So preposterous... like the rest of the movie.

Good movie. I thought that this movie should have won the Oscar for Best Picture. I mean Slumdog Millionaire was also a good movie but this a much better movie!

I could rewatch this film again and again.

The plot is unccommon and fascinating, a lil bit slow, but magical.

9/10.

The most beautiful film by David Fincher. Everything about it is perfect. I cannot go through it without crying.

A beautiful love story. Uplifting even amidst the tragic events. Some pretty nice cinematography in places. The aging effects (both growing older and younger) could have been better but their mask-like looks were not enough to be very distracting.
