   Tilda Swinton is very good as a mother trying to cover up her son's crime in this remake, but it's not all that remarkable. A few good, chilling scenes, but the twist is only so-so. 6 years 6 months ago

   Unbelievable story. I must have blinked and missed when the blackmailer and the blackmailee fell in love. When does a blackmailer ever turn nice-guy and give up on the blackmail? In the time period that this movie is set, the sons homosexuality shouldn't even be an issue even to his military father. 9 years 11 months ago
