Long thought lost, this film was restored and finally made available to the public in 2015 with a screening at TCM Classic Film Festival. Film preservationist Rick Schmidlin oversaw the restoration after obtaining the single surviving print from long-retired juggler Larry Weeks, who had himself gotten the print from the Harry Houdini estate in 1947. from IMDB 3 months 2 weeks ago -

The action scenes are incredibly well done. The film does start slow however, I think this is a film that would be accessible to those that would like to get into silent cinema. I found The Grim Game much more enjoyable than other films in the 1910s list, so I'd like to see this film eventually make it onto that list. 8 years 6 months ago -

Thought lost, but was actually held in a private collection before being turned over for restoration. (running time aprox 72mins)
It takes a while for it to get going, but once it does, the action, the escapes, and the plane scene are simply enchanting! It's wonderful to see some classic Houdini tricks on screen. 8 years 6 months ago
