Worth watching. Brendan Gleeson is excellent, and its pretty funny. Rough around the edges though. Lacks tension and ths story is a little weak.

Quite hilarious. The jokes centered in the way Brendan Gleeson perfectly plays the so-called unorthodox policeman. Lot of one-liners which are culturally and politically related to the Irish.

it is always refreshing when films don't try to do too much and are great regardless

I love under-hyped movies that turn out to be excellent.

The In Bruges comparison is great if you haven't actually seen the movie.

The tone, setting, characters, dialogue, all very different

Exactly. Apparently they haven't seen much comedies like this. Was quite good.

A subversive buddy-cop dark comedy set in a Irish hill district is exactly like In Bruges?

Loved it.

A little too much like In Bruges, although that really isn't a bad thing. Lots of laughs and another strong performance from Gleeson.

Loved it, way more than In Bruges which is terribly overrated imo. Brendan Gleeson is brilliant, again and again. Don Cheadle does a great job as usual, and they have many terrific scenes together.

This is a sleeper hit that will please many, especially those who can appreciate dark comedy and the bitter tang of the Irish spirit.

Highly recommended!

It reminded me more of Holy Water than In Bruges.
