Unintenionally hillarious. Not a good movie by any means, the script, the acting, the directing, the characters, the story, the climax - everything sucked so hard. I can't understand how this got made. It ranks among Troll 2, Battlefield Eart, Plan 9 etc IMO.
Without a doubt Shyamalan's weakest movie! He has no sense of storytelling in this one, whatsoever! The plot is interesting, but the development of the story leading to the explanation we're served is oh so terrible! And never have I seen Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel worse than they are here. Jeez!!
A really bad movie with mesmerizingly bad dialogue. If it were made with a small budget it could be classified as "so bad that it's good" but with the amount of money spend on this they should have known better.
This movie was far ahead of its time. After watching it recently, I realize how incredibly obvious its B-movie humor and script is. This is an excellent (terrible) movie, and I truly enjoyed it.
