Despite finding Landis' style to be annoying, with forced 'humor' - i can see why his AWiL is praised more than this bore-fest ''Howling'' - i was hardly engaged in any moment, even Rob Bottin's make-up/special effects do not have nearly as much impact as in for example ''The Thing''. Dante is no Carpenter, that's for sure.
