Very formulaic, just like most other american animated movies I guess. Exploring cold war paranoia and belligerence was a good idea, but the story was shallow.
Pretty much the only thing I don't like about this movie is the character of Mansley, he feels like every other government agent character in every other sci-fi movie ever. Also, he just doesn't listen to reason at the end because he's the bad guy and that's what the bad guy does.
But yeah great movie, shame it failed at the box office and there was no sequel.

Meh. Characters are annoying and their actions are predictable. But sure I can say one good thing about this flick: animation looks... expensive. :Ddevilsadvocado
