Though it's a sad story i laughed too much when Sydney shouted at the top of his lungs to Khmer soldiers that "This is an American passport and i'm an American citizen and i am walking out of here!". I admire this self-confidence of Americans.Juvelacio

The two colleagues in this film bear witness to all kinds of atrocities and human suffering, yet the only thing that seems to cause any significant emotional response in either, is the thought of the other.In a film that's so unflinching in highlighting the cataclysmic civilian impact of war, it's bizarre that its protagonists are so unwaveringly focused on one another, above all else.

Este es un portaretrato de la gran matanza de los khmer rojos que tomaron el poder de Cambodia y que finalmente su mas grande líder murió sin ser enjuiciado. Los Estados Unidos de América se hicieron a un lado y no les importó nada ese pobre país después de haberlo bombardeado de una manera brutal y sin compasión.Se dice que durante el gobierno de los khmer rojos cerca de dos millones de camboyanos fueron aniquilados . La mayor parte de ellos eran los que tenian algun grado de educación. Una matanza así es un acto que llevará décadas olvidar y que manchará para siempre la historia de los que allí viven.
Que pena más grande.
