A Fatty Arbuckle boxing comedy, The Knockout has a lot of fun ideas (breaking the fourth wall, and that last reel goes where no boxing movie has gone before or since), and a really interesting role for Minta Durfee, but the boxing itself is the least impressive part of the film, bar Chaplin's amusing participation which seems to prefigure City Lights.
