Okay, I watched this with a friend after we watched the original. This movie in all the ways possible is FAR better than the original. While the 1972 version was awkward, thrown quite randomly at you and sometimes just REALLY stupid, THIS version is longer to give more exposure to what is going on, the character are more developed and actually feel realistic ! I was more than pleasantly surprised ! Truly one of the best, most deserved remake I have seen in many years !
