Surprisingly well done, a real treat that works for the entire family. I think we've all fantasized about having special powers when we were children, so the plot description was enough to peak my interest. Solid script, the actors do a great job, the special effects are top notch. This is not a movie made for kids, but a brilliant adventure that works for all but the youngest children. No flaws worth nagging about imho. Just accept that all sci-fi movies have some weird things in them, and enjoy the experience instead.
Very highly recommended. 11 years 12 months ago -

A lot more than I expected from this...a throwback just as much to The Exorcist as it does E.T. The young girl in this, Rhiannon Wrenn, is phenomonal. Rainn Wilson as a befuddled, hipster science teacher (with a Pink Floyd t-shirt) is also quite good. And, speaking of Pink Floyd, there's a pretty good Roger Waters track over the credits. 5 years 11 months ago -
