At first I thought it started out rather slow but as the movie progresses you start to realize the scope of it all. It truly is a looong day as the title suggests and it manages to achieve the status of a war epic rather well. Many of the battle scenes hold up very well and still kick the snot out of some modern war movies. 6 years 11 months ago -
