Do you know why it's called the "Mandela Effect?" Because people in America are so ignorant and care so little about what goes on in Africa, that when they heard Steve Biko died in prison they mistook him for Nelson Mandela, who was also in prison.
Thus, the so-called "Mandela Effect" is named after a bunch of ignorant people who couldn't tell two imprisoned African anti-apartheid activists apart, and instead of acknowledging their ignorance, they decided they couldn't possibly have been wrong, so we must be living in an alternate reality. 1 year 11 months ago
