Awful adaptation of one of my favourite book series. Was too fast paced for non-fans of the book to keep up, changed things for what seems to be no reason what-so-ever and constantly had too many characters on-screen at all times. Did not cover enough of the history for viewers to understand what was happening, why it was happening, and who everyone is. The movie let plot twists out of the bag too early so failed to build suspense. There was no character development, in-fact viewers don't even get the opportunity to learn about a character before the next one is introduced. If they plan on continuing this series (which seems to be the case) then they have a lot of work to do. Its a shame. 10 years 8 months ago

Some of the worst editing, dialogue, acting, and all-around storytelling I've seen in a major motion picture. Inexplicably bad.
