   Tough, violent, harsh film about how fucking terrible British Imperialism was to both Australia and the world. People seem to dislike things that force them to deal with the fact that this is what the vast majority of British white people did for centuries.
   
   Edit: Film has really stuck with me and reminds me a lot of Peter Weir's early work in the best ways. 4 years 8 months ago

   I'm very conflicted right now as I mark this movie as a favorite. The movie is so well made that it certainly qualifies in that regard but it was such a difficult watch that I can't see myself revisiting it anytime soon. Very powerful film. 4 years 2 months ago

   Be warned, this is a grim grim film. Not since Dancer in the Dark have I seen something this difficult to watch. Its very well made and the acting is convincing. Hard to stop thinking about it, as much as I'd like to. 4 years 5 months ago
