Lovely costumes, extremely horrible everything else. See the old movie, or better yet watch the musical when it comes to your nearest city. 12 years 11 months ago -

A total disaster. Rossum holds herself well with the acting but her singing is flat and artificial. It's definitely a few steps up from Butler who is too handsome a phantom, acts terribly and sings off key. Nothing even all the technique they threw on his "singing" could do to fix it.
