Creepy and delicious, with our dear Vincent going full throttle on the insanity. It almost passes into corny country, but thankfully Corman reins it in and steers the whole thing into a solid horror.
There are several small issues with the overall movie, details that don't hold up today... but they aren't really worth fussing about.
Some things never change, human nature hasn't changed much in the last 50 years and the aspects of it that scared us in 1961 still scare us in 2013.
Well recommended. 10 years 6 months ago -

Thought it was pretty good. Price is as good as ever and it's filmed very nicely.
Thought it was funny to read afterwards that a cast member was dubbed over due to their accent (never even noticed). 12 years 2 months ago -

Another great Corman/Price collaboration, featuring key horror starlet Barbara Steele. It's creepy, intriguing, packed with twists.. and obviously influenced by the release of a year earlier! 9 years 8 months ago
