This movie shows the sides of an (Arab Spring-like) uprising from the view of the dictator, who has to hide among his people he oppressed.
While the first half hour or so may feel like a satirical fairy tale, the film unravels into a view of what ugly sides such a power struggle bring. Especially the last half of the movie is full of beautiful but dreary scenes.
Another great movie shot in Georgia, the first I watched was Grzeli nateli dgeebi. Both their landscape and their actors are great for film! 8 years 3 months ago
