A very, very white washed account of Gehrig's life, but you can't beat the performances by Cooper and the real deal Babe Ruth. A shocking look into the fragility of hats and collars in those times.

Good movie. One of Gary Cooper’s best performances. It’s a shame they rewrote his famous speech at the end. Gehrig’s real speech was more powerful.

I don't understand why certain films are listed under their Dutch release titles. This is not a Dutch film. It is not in the Dutch language. What gives?
