   There are some really great ideas that are never fully realized. Plus at least 15-20 min of the film is dead space. Needed a lot more purging to really be better. The jealous neighbors are a great idea that just doesn't come together. Worth a watch on home video so you can speed through the dull hide and seek with the homeless guy. Also, why does the daughter continuously run away and hide from her own family? That's just insanely dumb. 11 years 2 months ago

   I'm not going to deny that it's a flawed effort, but as far as home invasion films go, I quite enjoyed it, and found the concept rather intriguing. The purge itself has a smaller significance in the film than you would probably expect though. It's just a dark low-key thriller with a unique set-up. 11 years 2 months ago
