Everyone who calls himself open minded should give this movie a chance, its not perfect in the way it is made, but it tries very hard to portrait the problem in a fair way.
also note that the maker of this documentary was an acclaimed feminist film maker before doing this, so don't even try to paint it as propaganda.
its not, its raw, from the heart and very in depth. 6 years 11 months ago -

Oof.. Terrible documentary.
The Men's Rights advocates dominate the majority of the POV and their stories are never fact-checked or their positions challenged. At one point you get a guy telling his personal experience of losing custody and we literally only hear his side of the story and take him at his word. Court documents must be available! Why didn't you put them in your movie!
There are plenty of men that have no power and I feel bad that they feel powerless. But women aren't the ones oppressing them. They powerlessness is used as a weapon against people trying to challenge the powerful men that are the cause of everyone's suffering.
MRA aren't helping anybody. They especially aren't helping men. 3 years 9 months ago -

I wish she'd dig even deeper into this documentary, expose things even further, but overall it's pretty good, it touches a really wide spectrum of issues. 6 years 9 months ago
