   I think guilt is a big theme that plays throughout its duration. The atmospherics are on point and the build up the the unveiling of this bizarre monster is worth the wait. It’s intricate visuals did creep me out admittedly! 5 years ago

   All its deviations from the --admittedly flawed-- book are rooted in genericism, and it all leads to a deeply underwhelming ending. A warts-and-all adaptation of the source novel would have made for a better film. 6 years 1 month ago
