I actually somehow avoided knowing the twist all these years. Good thing I did, the impact was a lot bigger - jaw-dropping took a literal meaning. I'm actually a fan of Shyamalan. This, The Visit, Unbreakable, and Split are actually really good. Too bad The Happening happened

Good movie. Probably would've enjoyed it more if I didn't guess the twist in the first 20 minutes, but still a great movie.

This movie had a great twist. The film was good at taking a fair pace with it's story and the characters were awesome. I was blown away by the twist ending.

It's definitely a film of it's time. Clever and original, and smart in how reserve it was with the script and direction. The script wasn't witty or drawn out, it was minimal and thus hit all the right notes without driving the point too deep.

As for the twist, whether you've seen it or not its hard not to know what the twist is. Watching it now it almost seems obvious. It's hard to imagine how i would feel if i had seen this when it first came out. But then again, part of the twist of the film is the plot development with the kid. At a first glance we don;t know how far his problem reaches. But as the film progresses, we fall down the rabbit hole until of what this film is trying to tell until wham, the big twist is revealed.

Overall a worthwhile film. A great introduction to ghost movies for people who dont like scary films. Nothing groundbreaking but like i said, it was smart with how reserved it was.
