   Useless to say I enjoyed the first part more since they really seem to be one big movie. This one is just as good, but I could've done without the dream sequence, which is the sort of student film fantasia that even the character seems to have moved on from when she decides to write her script about Anthony. I think the meta ending would've hit harder without that stuff. But everything else is so well done and true to life (anyone who has directed a short with friends will experience déjà vu) that I'd be happy to have as many sequels to this as possible. I love Hogg's elliptical storytelling and the tender manner in which she films her characters. She really makes us feel for and care about this weirdo. Bravo. 2 years ago
