Entertaining, funny and full of suspense. Some scenes were a bit strange, especially the ending was weird, but most of the film was quite good.

The sad part is I see the black comedy that Frank Oz wanted to make underneath all the studio edits. I just can't get past the terrible editing and dialogue and huge story gaps.

The changes made to the story are absolutely baffling. I really can't believe they made Joanna's husband a hero. It's completely at odds with the point of the original story. And the new ending is insane.

I would love to know what Levin thought about this version.
