I am a gal who can always enjoy a little light romcom but I found this movie terrible even inside the genre and my low expectations, there was potential in the story but the endless stream of clichéd inane problems and fail scenarios were just tiresome, and even expected ending felt low effort and didn't provide much satisfaction. Less clichéd scenes and made up problems and more focus on the interesting relationship dynamics could have made this into a lovely movie but as it is it falls short for even regular clichéd romcoms.. 7 years 4 months ago -

The chemistry between Bateman and the boy was fantastic. The movie could have turned uit terrific if it played out like a drama with a few minor comedic notes, in stead of a run-of-the-mill Romcom. 11 years 4 months ago
